Farmusol facilitate for several customers as purchase-center. Purchase occurs for example chemistry which are employed its for semiconductor industry and photo-voltaïc industry. Within the chemistry with these applications, several gradations are deliverable. Gradations which are of influence on the concentration substance particles. For the information an overview of the several gradations follows which are deliverable. In this overview has started with a gradation with lowest quality rising to the highest gradation.
- Technical Grade: Product which is not purified with micron filters on for example strange elements and/or substance particles; applications do not take place or hardly in mentioned sectors;
- Pro-Analyze: Product which is purified with a micron filters. Product gradation is in general applied on laboratory scale; applications take place hardly in mentioned sectors;
- MOS (metal oxide semiconductor): Product with a metal ion concentration by non-relevant element of approx. 100 ppb, substance particles concentration of < 1,000 g/ml;
- VLSI (very large scale integration): Product with a metal ion concentration by non-relevant element of approx. 10 - 50 ppb, substance particles concentration of < 250 g/ml;
- ULSI (ultra large scale integration): Product with a metal ion concentration by non-relevant element of approx. 10 ppb, substance particles concentration of < 30 - 100 g/ml;
- SLSI (super large scale integration): Product with a metal ion concentration by non-relevant element of approx. 1 ppb, substance particles concentration of < 30 - 100 g/ml;
- For explanation:
- 1 ppm (parts by million, 10-6) corresponds to approximately a drop in a large bucket;
- 1 ppb (parts by billion, 10-9) represents a drop in a small swimming pool;
- 1 ppt (parts by trillion, 10-12) is a drop in a small more, or small substance particle in a cup of coffee but still approximately 100,000 atoms in a drop.
