January 8, 2009 - SQAS assessment (Safety and Quality Assessment system)
On the 5th, 6th and 7th of January 2009, Farmusol has done a SQAS assessment (Safety and Quality Assessment system) by the certification office Veritas. During the SQAS- assessment has been analyzed if the organization meets the demands which has been made concerning the security, quality, environment and health care during the warehousing and transport of packed ADR - goods.
This SQAS - assessment was carried out for the first time within the company and we have a good score on the put items. The SQAS assessment had such arranged that this is also valid for our sister company for warehousing Mond & Riksen BV and the transport company Albert Riksen B.V.
This SQAS - assessment and ISO 9001:2000 certification combination guaranties more and stabile security, quality and environment within the organization and is very important for companies in the chemical sector. Farmusol B.V. have been delighted to be able communicate that the certification for the management system ISO 9001:2000 have gone positively.
The certification agency office Veritas has investigated the company in accordance with the standardization of this quality management system and on the basis of the results the certificate extended to end 2011. REACH are a new European regulation for chemical substances. The abbreviations stand for registration, evaluation and authorization of chemical substances. Regulation becomes effective on the 1th of June 2007.
The core of the regulation is that a company produces that chemical substances, processes or passes on to customers in principle of all those substances risk must know, measures must indicate to master risk that and also must carry out those measures in its own company.
